How and why do we collect data:
We collect information regarding visits to our website. Like most servers, IP addresses [which include location data, browser, operating system, visiting time (local and server), session, actions per visit, page views per visit, returning visitors, and referring site information] are logged automatically on access to our website however these IP addresses are not tied or collated against the responses that you send by using our forms. We undertake to delete these IP logs after a retention period, as mentioned below.
What do we do with the data:
We use your email address, name, and/or designation to respond to queries, collaboration purposes, and intimation purposes. We may use your mobile number, if at all collected, to follow up for event participation and any other relevant project you are involved in or have expressed interest in, only when we receive no/inadequate response to our emails. We do not share your data with any third party except with your express consent or if compelled by law.
Where and how we store your data:
We store the data collected via Google Forms in an Excel sheet that is accessible to all members of The Dialogue. However, only the communications team usually accesses the Excel sheet or the Google Form.
How often do we access/erase your data:
Accessing data: We access your data only when we respond to any project or action you have subscribed to or when following up on that specific project or action (this may include calling you directly).
Erasing data (Data Retention): We destroy all collected data (except data concerning any ongoing project and any data given to us by visitors to our website) within 120 days after the project or action is completed. We do not keep copies of the collected data.
Social Media and third-party platforms:
We use social media and third-party platforms for our activities. These platforms and applications are often provided by third-party service providers.
The Dialogue provides links to or interacts with a wide variety of third-party websites, including interactive links to sites like social media, telephone calling services, mapping services, video hosting websites, etc. The Dialogue is not responsible for and does not have any control over the privacy practices or the content of such third parties; please see their privacy policies for more information.
Updating or Removing Your Information:
You may choose to correct, update, access, or delete the membership information you have submitted to us by sending an email requesting changes to info@thedialogue.co. Your consent to our use of your information is very important to us. If you want to withdraw your consent to receive the updates and other bulk emails, you may write to info@thedialogue.co.
