Associate Director - Commerce and Expansion

Saksham Malik leads The Dialogue’s strategic expansion efforts, driving initiatives to grow the organization’s presence both domestically and internationally. Additionally, he oversees the think tank’s research initiatives, focusing on enhancing its quantitative and qualitative research capacities.

Additionally, he leads various programs on online and offline commerce, including those pertaining to competition law and policy, the FMCG sector, online marketplaces, fraud prevention and hardware manufacturing. Saksham holds a law degree from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. Prior to his stint at The Dialogue, Saksham worked in the competition law practice at a tier one law firm in New Delhi.

While Saksham leads various projects in the realm of online and offline commerce, his core expertise lies in emerging market dynamics and competition policy. Over the years, Saksham has conducted pivotal research on amendments to India’s competition law framework and the competitive dynamics within technology markets. Additionally, he regularly engages in interdisciplinary work, exploring the intersection of competition policy with topics such as artificial intelligence and social justice.
