Mr. Negi is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur with over a decade of specialized experience in industrial automation, operational technologies, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure systems. He previously served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at IHUB NTIHAC Foundation, after holding the role of Senior Vice President of R&D. He is currently focusing on the completion of his PhD, continuing his deep engagement with academic research and national cyber defense initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he was a Lead Engineer at the C3i Center, IIT Kanpur, where he contributed to several strategic cybersecurity projects.
Mr. Negi has led the end-to-end design and deployment of Industrial Control System (ICS) testbeds, including advanced industrial automation testbeds established at IIT Kanpur for cutting-edge cyber defense research. He is deeply committed to the development and deployment of indigenous cybersecurity solutions, particularly those supporting Security Operations Centers (SOCs). He has also led cybersecurity audits across India’s critical infrastructure sectors, including ports, oil and gas, energy, and the BFSI domain.
Beyond his technical work, Mr. Negi has edited two books, authored multiple international conference papers, and contributed chapters to several technical volumes. He has served on the review boards of prestigious international journals. Passionate about innovation, he continues to explore emerging technologies to address the evolving cybersecurity challenges in the critical infrastructure landscape.
