Kazim founded one of India’s leading tech policy think tank, The Dialogue in 2017 and co-founded DeepStrat, a strategic consultancy, in 2020. He brings years’ of experience on public policy, digital economy and entrepreneurship, being one of the very few entrepreneurs in India’s think-tank and public policy sector. He has worked closely with over 15 union and state ministries and over 50 Parliamentarians to further progressive internet policy in India. Kazim led The Dialogue to be recognised amongst the top ten think tanks in the world to watch out for in 2020 & 2021, by TTCSP, University of Pennsylvania. Recognised as a leading voice in shaping and informing India’s internet policy, Kazim has led The Dialogue with over 38 publications, more than 60 policy consultations and over 250 media features in his name.
A lawyer by training, previously, he has led policy communications for the British High Commission and was a Swaniti Fellow with the office of the former Member of Parliament, Baijayant Panda.
