Platforms like UPI, Jan Dhan Yojana, and DigiLocker have brought millions into the fold of formal finance, empowering communities that were once excluded. Yet, the promise of universal financial inclusion is still work in progress. Connectivity gaps, low digital literacy, fraud risks, and limited trust continue to hamper equitable access and meaningful usage.
As the country moves towards integrating Digital Public Goods (DPGs) into its digital finance ecosystem, it opens new pathways for innovation, openness, and responsible growth.
