Despite regulatory frameworks like the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR) unsolicited commercial communication, continues to erode consumer trust while businesses manoeuvre to deploy solutions. The latest 2025 amendments introduce stricter rules around consent, Principal Entity accountability, and the use of distributed ledger technology for message tracking.
This discussion will address overlapping mandates (TCCCPR and DPDP Act), examine real-world industry challenges, and explore practical, technology-informed solutions to ensure a safer and more trusted digital communication ecosystem.
