Anuradha Bhattacharya is a Senior Research Associate at The Dialogue, where she works with the Competition Law and Policy team. She specialises in competition law, with a particular focus on the fast-evolving digital markets. She previously worked at the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy where she played a pivotal role in crafting the seminal ‘Report of the Committee on Digital Competition Law’, a work commissioned by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, that has since shaped national discourse on digital competition.

Anuradha’s professional portfolio is enriched by her extensive collaborations with key government bodies, including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and the esteemed Competition Commission of India, where her insights have informed policy and regulatory frameworks.

Her academic laurels include a BA LLB (Hons.) from the University of Calcutta, Department of Law, in 2019, and an LLM in Competition Law from University College London (UCL) in 2020. A scholar with a keen intellectual curiosity, her research interests traverse the dynamic intersections of competition law and artificial intelligence, the pivotal role of competition law in fostering sustainability, and the nuanced interplay between data privacy and competition law.
