Event Report- 2nd Annual International Conference on Competition Law in the Digital Age: Contextualising Global Experiences

The Dialogue recently hosted its 2nd Annual International Conference, on August 8, 2024, bringing together a diverse array of global experts to discuss the ever-evolving intersection of competition law and digital markets. As technology continues to reshape economies and societies, both developed and developing countries are navigating how best to regulate these markets. This year’s conference provided an important platform for stakeholders—including academicians, international organizations, regulators, policy practitioners, lawyers, and industry representatives—to share insights on these pressing issues.

With keynote addresses from distinguished speakers such as Ms. Teresa Moreira, Head of the Competition and Consumer Policies Branch at UNCTAD, and Hon’ble Member of Parliament Mr. Niranjan Reddy, the event featured three insightful panel discussions:
